  • What will the role envolve?

    The successful candidate will support and enhance the Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy input to service users within the Independent Units of the required region.

    You will work independently with service users to support the delivery of therapy interventions under the supervision and guidance of the Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) and Occupational Therapist (OT).  The post holder will provide practical support in the preparation for materials that may be required by the OT or SLT. 

     

    Part Time: 16 Hours Per Week

  • Based in Thorrington, North East Essex, Thors Park provides support and treatment for men with learning disabilities and complex needs. The team can also support people who have additional mental and physical health needs, and those who have been detained under the Mental Health Act. People come to Thors Park from a home environment, supported living or residential service due to an illness or a crisis in their life. They may also come following a stay at an NHS or other specialist learning disability service, including a secure service.
