  • What will the job involve?

    The post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary team which provides service to people who have Learning Disability with health care or psychiatric needs. You will provide clinical evidence based Occupational therapy service to our patients; supervision and appraisal to designated staff to promote professional development and assist in implementing service developments within Danshell.

    Provide cover for: Yew Tree; Bostall House and Old Leigh House

  • Location Information
  • Based in the village of Kirby-le-Soken, Essex, Yew Trees provides assessment and intervention for up to ten women with learning disabilities and complex needs. The team can also support people with additional mental and physical health needs, those with complex behaviours, as well as people who have been detained under the Mental Health Act. People come to Yew Trees from a home environment, supported living or residential service due to an illness or a crisis in their life. They may also come following a stay at an NHS or other specialist learning disability service, including a secure service.
